- ...and more!
Committee Participation
With a Club of 140 members and 20 active committees, it takes many hands to maintain and build our programs. Club members serve on one or more committees each year and are encouraged to offer their time and talent to make our club stronger.
Attendance
We encourage members to attend meetings and experience the fellowship and personal rewards that come from being engaged in the Club's regular activities, committees, and events. The Club does not mandate attendance, but we do recognize members who have outstanding attendance and require regular attendance from those who aspire to leadership in the Club. Preregistration for lunches is encouraged.
Event Support
The club's annual fundraising event, Flags for Hillsborough's Heroes, in tandem with our Foundation's investment, is the way we fund our community service grants and club service projects each year. Club members are expected to support these events with participation and by sharing them within personal and professional networks.
Foundation Support
Our long term community impact is dependent on the growth of the Rotary Club of Tampa Foundation, and we encourage annual financial support when it is possible for our members to do so. The Club recognizes members who choose to give at higher levels through our 1914 Club. Both are welcomed but not mandatory.
The Rotary Foundation is the international charitable arm of Rotary, funding programs worldwide. Donors to this foundation at higher levels are recognized by Rotary International and our Club as well.
